About Our Apostle

Apostle Dr. Faith A. Walters, Th.D. is the founder and CEO of Women & Men of Excellence Outreach Ministries (WAMOE) in Mount Vernon, NY.

 
A Call to Ministry

 

In 1997, Apostle Faith received a divine revelation to begin a ministry that would empower individuals for success in God’s kingdom. Her calling was shaped by her own struggles and aimed at helping those who faced:

​

  • Emotional, mental, physical, sexual, financial, substance, and spiritual abuse

  • Low self-esteem, insecurity, and lack of confidence

  • Issues with self-control and sex addictions

 

Though hesitant at first, she obeyed the Lord’s call in 2006, establishing WAMOE. For over 18 years, she has persevered through challenges to serve with compassion, creativity, and excellence.

 
Ministry Highlights
​

  • Hosts annual Celebration of Worship under the Tent, prayer breakfasts, banquets, and community/virtual events

  • Provides ongoing support to the poor, bereaved, and those in need of healing and encouragement

  • Leads empowerment seminars, outreach programs, and global missions

  • Mentored early in ministry by Apostle R. L. Jackson, Life Center International Ministries, Brooklyn, NY

  • 2008 – Co-hosted Lifestyle Gospel Radio on 94.3 FM “Destined for Purpose”

  • 2009 – Guest speaker on Faith, Hope & Charity Ministries television broadcast

  • 2010 – Elevated to Apostleship; awarded Honorary Doctorate & Master’s in Theology/Divinity, Five Fold School of Theology (NM)

  • 2020–Present – WAMOE transitions to a Global Digital Network, broadcasting via UDMI Digital, CaribVision, YouTube, Facebook, and more, reaching 117+ countries and 1.7 million households

  • 2023–2024 – Honored with an Outstanding Achievement Award (Shout Out Arizona) and a Proclamation from the Westchester County Legislators

Personal Life

 

Apostle Faith is the proud mother of three adult children — Dante, Welton Jr., and Melissa Hyatt — all residing in Mount Vernon, NY.

Her mission continues: to fulfill God’s calling, inspire transformation, and bring greater awareness of the Most High God. Her greatest achievements are yet to come.
